Cookies: what
they are, what they are for and what Genyed Srls does with them
A cookie is information that a website communicates to a browser
while browsing the site. This information is stored on your
computer and allows you to improve browsing performance.
Technically, it is a portion (or string) of code that assists the
owner of a website in the correct and more efficient provision of
the service. Some cookies require the user's explicit consent, and
this consent can be revoked at any time by changing the browser
settings (listed below). There are different types of Cookies,
among these, those used by Genyed Srls are divided between
technical and analytical cookies, and third-party cookies.
Technical and analytical cookies
This family includes cookies that collect data useful for
developing statistical analyzes on users and their browsing
methods and times. These allow us to know, for example, when an
anonymous person browses the site, with which device they browse,
how long they stay on the web pages and the actions they perform
(click, closing page, scroll, download). Genyed Srls analyzes this
data using the Google Analytics tool.
Third party cookies
As per the name, third-party cookies are collected and used by
third-party companies. This is information collected during
browsing sessions, during which you move from social networks to
e-commerce sites, or sometimes from online advertisements to
specific web pages. The collection of this data, which may also
concern user tracking activities, usually has a commercial purpose
and takes the form of marketing activities (such as remarketing
and retargeting).
How do you disable cookies?
Each browser allows you to manage or disable cookies through a
specific section. However, deactivation may cause malfunctions on
some websites. The Genyed Srls website, on the contrary, works
correctly even if you decide to deactivate cookies or browse
anonymously.
Usually, the settings relating to the management and disabling of
cookies are found in the menu, options or preferences area of any
browser, and this applies to both fixed and mobile devices.
Acquisition data
The acquisition data concerns all the information provided by
contact forms, email subscription forms and cookies installed on
the site that we use for analytical activities and to optimize
advertising initiatives. The following list highlights all the
methods and cookies with which we obtain information.
Contact form
The contact request form requires personal information such as
name and email, which we request only to provide you with quicker
and more comprehensive responses and support.
In the request form reserved for resellers, additional information
is requested such as "Company name, address, city, postcode, email
and VAT number".
Sending information is voluntary and can be avoided simply by
choosing to contact us through another channel, for example via
email info@genyed.com. The data entered spontaneously are copied
into an email that we receive automatically and keep saved in our
email clients, including: gmail, webmail, formspark.

report information on each third-party cookie we use.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is an analysis tool provided by Google and used
by website managers and owners to monitor their performance. As
reported on Google's Privacy and Terms page, this service may use
a set of cookies to collect information and generate statistics on
the use of websites without providing personal information on
individual visitors to Google. The main cookie used by Google
Analytics is “__ga”.
Furthermore, the Google Analytics service, in addition to
providing website usage statistics, can also be used together with
some of the advertising cookies in order to show more relevant
adverts on other Google products (such as Google Search) but in
general on everything the web, and to measure interactions with
the ads that are shown.
Read further information on the cookies used by Google and on the
Google Analytics privacy policy.

Technical and aggregate statistics cookies
Some applications use cookies to store navigation data or to
improve the performance of a session or, again, to carry out
technical activities related to the correct functioning of the
application itself.
Preference saving cookies
Some cookies are used to memorize browsing preferences and
improve, both in terms of speed and practicality, the user's
experience of use and browsing. These cookies sometimes concern
geolocation settings, language, currency or storage of the link to
the website.
Cookies and sharing plug-ins
Plug-ins are installed on this website that allow connection and
sharing of content with social networks and other external
platforms. Some of these are clearly visible thanks to the
presence of logos or the name written in full, this is the case of
Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Vimeo
and other similar plug-ins.
The click on the button/link and the subsequent sharing activity
create a connection between the user, browser and server, in which
user data can be collected regarding: the website, the date and
time in which the action takes place, the IP address, the browser
used, the device and the operating system. The information is
collected by the plug-in provider and can be transmitted even if
the user is not registered on the platform in question. To prevent
this from happening, you can disable or block the use of java
scripts from your browser towards the affected channels or even
towards all channels.
